The Ring

Ok, she's done!!!! I hope my niece loves her. She actually looks better in person than in the photo. I'm going to learn soon how to take pictures and make prints from them, but for now it's the cell phone. Leave me a comment if you like her or have a suggestion please!!! I love hearing from you all! smile emoticon

This is from a lesson from LifeBook 2014. We're supposed to write personal affirmations along the drips, but I'm just not good at that sort of thing. I thought maybe I'd write a poem or song instead. Anyone have any ideas?

Blue fairy

I really like how this fairy turned out. I'm not loving the pink wings though. I wish I would have stayed with the blue/yellow palette. Neocolor watercolor crayons, prismas, and sharpies. Have a super wonderful evening!! xoxo Tracey

Hi everyone,
This is a painting I worked on today just for fun. I swear I'm going to get back to work soon. I really am. I'm just having so much fun playing in my paints. I can't seem to stop myself. On this girl I used prisma colored pencils on her face and Tim Holtz Distress Stains on the rest. The stamps are Unity's "moment by moment"
She needs something more, but I think I'm going to stop on her for now. Have a nice evening all!

Graphite girl.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was sooo good. We had family, food, love and fun. It was truly the best.

This girl is all graphite on 140lbs. hot pressed paper. I've started coloring her since I took this photo and I'm not so happy. It seems that I always ruin a drawing when I add color. I"m not sure what's up with that. Here she is so far:

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? She just doesn't have any pop, ya know?

Woodland Fairy

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I used Peerless watercolors and Inktense pencils.
I love the peerless watercolors. The colors are amazing! I used the vintage set here.
We have our first snow of the season here in Indiana in the US. I think I'm going to bundle up the baby and take her out to find out what snow is. She was just a tiny baby last year so it'll be a lot of fun. Have a lovely day friends.
xoxo Tracey
